This is not a full household removals service. We do not do packing, we do not carry the level of goods in transit insurance a big removals firm carries, and we are not the right people to move a four bedroom house.
For a proper house move, use a proper removals company. For everything smaller and more awkward than that, we are cheaper, quicker and easier to book.
Combine it with a clearance
The most efficient booking we do is a two way trip. We take the new sofa to the house, and the old one goes in the van on the way back to the transfer station. One visit, one charge, two problems gone.
If that is what you need, say so when you ring and we will price it as one job rather than two.

What size is the van?

Is this a full removals service?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. We are a van and a pair of hands for small moves, single item deliveries, storage runs and awkward one offs. If you are moving a four bedroom house, you want a proper removals firm with insurance to match.
Do you charge by the hour for man and van?
For man and van work, yes, usually with a minimum. That is the one job where hourly makes sense because the work is your time rather than our disposal costs. Clearance and rubbish removal stays fixed price.
Can you help load and unload?
That is the point of it. You are hiring the van and the hands together. If you only want the van, you want a van hire company.
Will you take rubbish away on the same trip?
Yes, and it is a good use of a booking. Move the sofa to the new place, take the old one away on the way back.
