What we are
A local, licensed rubbish removal and house clearance business covering Birmingham and the West Midlands. One Luton van with a tail lift, roughly twenty cubic yards of load space, and someone who lifts things for a living.
We are not a national booking platform that takes your money and subcontracts the job to whoever is nearest. When you ring, you speak to the person who is going to turn up.
What we are not
We are not the cheapest, and we are suspicious of anyone who is. Tipping waste costs real money, and a price that does not cover the transfer station fees usually means the load is going somewhere it should not.
We are also not a full removals firm. We do man and van work, but if you are moving a four bedroom house you want a proper removals company with the insurance to match. We will tell you that rather than take the booking.
Licensed, and happy to prove it
We are a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency. Every job gets a waste transfer note, whether you ask for one or not, and you are welcome to check our registration on the public register before we turn up.
This matters more than most people realise. Householders have a legal duty of care for their own waste. Hand it to somebody unlicensed who fly tips it, and if it gets traced back to your address, the fine is yours. Ask any waste carrier for their number. If they hesitate, that tells you what you need to know.
How we quote
From a photo, a postcode and one line about access. The number we give you covers labour, all the carrying, loading, transport and the tip fees. That is the number you pay.
If we turn up and there is genuinely more than the photo showed, we tell you before we load anything and you decide. Nobody gets a surprise at the end.
Where the waste goes
To a licensed transfer station where it gets sorted. Timber, metal, cardboard, green waste and rubble all have their own recycling routes, and clean green waste goes for composting rather than landfill. The more you can keep separate before we arrive, the more of it gets recycled, which is why we ask you not to mix bagged household rubbish into the garden pile.
Hours
Monday to Saturday, 7am until 7pm. Sundays by arrangement, and we do genuinely answer the phone on a Sunday if it is urgent.
